In the Academic year 2023-24, Students will be admitted to various classes as per the following rules:

The students of 1st year are required to apply online on Punjab Government Centerlized Admission Portal 'www.admission.punjab.gov.in' and the students of 2nd,3rd year are required to apply online on "www.online.gcderabassi.ac.in'. Incomplete and late forms will not be accepted. |

The admission will take place as per the dates fixed by DHE (Department of Hogher Education) Punjab and Punjabi University, Patiala. |
| 3. |
If the last day of admission happens to be a government holiday, then the students will be admitted on the next working day. |
| 4. |
Barring students who have passed 10+2 class from PSEB, Mohali, Board of School Education Haryana, Himachal Pardesh Board of School Education and CBSE and I.C.S.E. all those students who have passed 10+2 from other states will have to furnish an eligibility certificate from the Registration Branch of Punjabi University Patiala at the time of admission. |

Students will be admitted to the semester III and V only if they have cleared at least 50% of papers of the previous semesters. In case the result of semester II and IV have not been declared the students will be given provisional admission and will be allowed to appear in the semester examinations only if they have fulfilled the aforesaid condition. |

It is compulsory for the student to be physically present for interview at the time of admission. |
| 7. |
It is mandatory to show following original certificates at the time of interview:
a. Original certificates of the exams passed from the board/University.
b. Character certificate from the head of the last institute attended.
c. Detailed marks certificates of the previous classes.
d. Matriculation/ Senior Secondary certificate as a proof of date of birth.
e. Self Certified Photostat copies of the above certificate are to be attached with the admission form. The students will be responsible for the authenticity of the Photostat copies.
f. 2 Passport size Photographs to be attached with the admission form.
g. Eligibility/migration certificate, if required.

Admission taken on wrong or false declaration can be annulled any time. |

The Principal can refuse admission to any student in the interest of the overall college discipline. |
| 10. |
The admission of every student is deemed provisional until approved by the University. The College will not be responsible for refusal of permission to any student by the University. |

Students having a gap of one or more year after clearing the last exam will be given admission to the College only if the seats are available. |
| 12. |
There are reserved seats/other facilities for the students belonging to Scheduled castes, Scheduled tribes, backward classes. Students from such sections will have to furnish/deposit the relevant document at the time of admission. Certificates/documents furnished by the students can be got verified from the concerned issuing authorities. |
| 13. |
Players of State/National repute will be given concessions as per rules. |
| 14. |
Students can opt for the subject groups fixed by the University. In case fixed seats got filled in a subject, no more students will be given that subject. |
| 15. |
Admission will be strictly as per merit. Students with less marks can be denied admission. Failed students will not be given re-admission. |
| 16. |
Only those students are considered to be belonging to the Rural area who have studied up to the matriculation level from a village school. |
